Would you like to use your field experience and training skills to help industrial teams prevent and manage chemical accidents?
PREVOR is creating a new position covering Belgium and the Netherlands. You do not need to be a chemical risk expert when you join us: a comprehensive training programme will enable you to master our solutions, technical environment and training methods.
[About PREVOR]
PREVOR develops specialised solutions for the prevention and emergency management of chemical accidents. Our products and expertise support industrial companies, HSE teams, emergency services and occupational safety professionals in high-risk environments around the world.
Joining PREVOR means contributing to a concrete mission: helping organisations protect people and the environment when chemical accidents occur.
[Your role]
As an HSE Field Trainer, you will deliver practical and technical training to industrial clients, distribution partners, emergency services and occupational safety organisations.
Your objective will be to help participants understand chemical risks, respond appropriately to chemical accidents and use PREVOR’s human and environmental decontamination solutions correctly.
This is a field-based training role. It does not include direct sales responsibility.
[What you will do]
You will:
- Deliver practical training sessions on chemical accident prevention and response;
- Present and demonstrate PREVOR’s human and environmental decontamination solutions;
- Adapt your training style and technical explanations to different audiences;
- Ensure that participants have understood the key safety messages;
- Train industrial employees, HSE teams, emergency responders, firefighters, prevention professionals and distribution partners;
- Prepare your interventions using PREVOR’s technical and pedagogical materials;
- Work closely with our Export sales team, distribution partners and specialised marketing teams;
- Participate in selected client events and professional meetings;
- Attend Export team meetings in the Paris region approximately once every six weeks;
- Organise your travel and client interventions autonomously within the agreed schedule and company framework.
[What we are looking for]
You must have :
- A bachelor’s degree minimum
- 3 to 10 years of experience
- Professional fluency in Dutch and French enabling you to deliver training sessions;
- A professional working level of English;
- Demonstrable experience in training, instruction, coaching, technical presentation or group facilitation;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- A practical and field-oriented approach;
- The ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout Belgium and the Netherlands;
- The ability to organise your schedule and travel independently;
- A valid driving licence.
Your background could be in :
- Occupational health and safety;
- Firefighting or civil protection;
- Emergency response or first aid;
- Technical or vocational training;
- Industrial safety;
- Chemistry or environmental services;
- PPE or safety equipment;
- Industrial or scientific sales;
- Laboratory, production or technical operations.
It would be useful, but is not essential, to have :
- Knowledge of chemical risks;
- Experience with PPE;
- Experience in an industrial or Seveso environment;
- Experience working with emergency services;
- A Belgian Prevention Advisor qualification;
- Experience training clients rather than only internal employees.
You do not need to meet every preferred criterion. We are primarily looking for someone who can communicate clearly, engage an audience and develop strong technical credibility through training.
[Working conditions]
- Permanent employment contract;
- Home-based position in Belgium, preferably within convenient travelling distance of Flanders, Brussels and the Netherlands;
- Field activity throughout Belgium and the Netherlands;
- Approximately 3 to 4 overnight stays per week, depending on client activity;
- Travel to the Paris region approximately once every six weeks;
- Fixed gross monthly salary of €3,630 to €4,550, depending on academic background and experience;
- Travel allowance equivalent to 20% of gross salary;
- Travel expenses covered in accordance with company policy;
