pFor one of our clients, we are currently looking for an experienced Actuary Pension Funds Employee Benefits to join its team in Antwerp. /pbrpOur client is a leading Belgian specialist in pension funds and Employee Benefits, providing actuarial and advisory services to major Belgian pension funds and large corporate employers. /ppThe organization combines the entrepreneurial and close-knit environment of an established specialist firm with the resources, expertise and stability of a major player in the Belgian insurance market. /ppbr/ppWith a strong reputation in the field of pensions and Employee Benefits, the company supports its clients across a broad range of actuarial and strategic topics, including pension fund management, funding, ALM, IFRS/IAS, pension plan design and regulatory matters. /pBR/pAs an Actuary Pension Funds Employee Benefits, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients, primarily composed of pension funds and large corporate organizations. /ppYou will act as a trusted actuarial advisor and business owner for your clients, combining strong technical expertise with a clear understanding of their financial, strategic and regulatory challenges. /ppbr/ppThe role offers broad exposure to pension fund management, Employee Benefits, funding strategies, ALM, accounting and regulatory developments, while allowing you to take ownership of client relationships and complex actuarial projects. /ppbr/ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /ppActuarial Management Pension Funds /pulliAct as the business owner for a portfolio of pension fund and corporate clients. /liliManage the actuarial aspects of pension funds, including actuarial valuations, reporting, funding monitoring and actuarial advice. /liliPerform actuarial calculations and analyses relating to pension schemes and Employee Benefits. /liliPrepare IFRS/IAS calculations and reports. /liliAssess the impact of changes to pension schemes and specific client situations. /liliEnsure accurate and clear documentation of actuarial processes and methodologies. /li /ulpbr/ppPension Strategic Advisory /pulliAdvise clients on funding plans, SIPs, ALM, continuity testing and reinsurance. /liliSupport the design and implementation of new pension schemes and changes to existing pension plans. /liliAdvise clients on the impact of new pension legislation and FSMA circulars. /liliContribute to complex projects involving MA, the Belgian 80% rule, single status and other regulatory or strategic developments. /liliTranslate complex actuarial analyses into clear and practical recommendations for clients. /li /ulpbr/ppClient Relationship Management /pulliAct as a trusted point of contact for your portfolio of clients. /liliDevelop long-term relationships based on expertise, reliability and a strong client focus. /liliUnderstand the specific needs and challenges of each client and adapt your advice accordingly. /liliPresent actuarial analyses and recommendations in a clear and structured manner. /liliWork closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery of projects. /li /ulpbr/ppQuality, Analysis Continuous Improvement /pulliProvide a critical and analytical review of actuarial processes and methodologies. /liliIdentify opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of internal processes. /liliContribute to the development and documentation of best practices. /liliShare your expertise and collaborate with colleagues from different departments. /liliParticipate in projects aimed at continuously improving the organization's actuarial services. /li /ulBR/ulliYou hold a Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Business Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science or an equivalent quantitative field. /liliYou have 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within pension funds, Employee Benefits, actuarial consulting, Life insurance or a similar environment. /liliYou have a strong understanding of Belgian pension schemes and actuarial principles. /liliYou have experience with topics such as IFRS/IAS, funding, ALM, pension plan design and regulatory developments. /liliYou have a strong analytical and critical mindset and are comfortable working with complex actuarial topics. /liliYou are able to communicate complex ideas in a clear and structured manner, both verbally and in writing. /liliYou have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working with colleagues across different departments. /liliYou have a strong sense of responsibility and are capable of working autonomously, while effectively organizing priorities and managing several projects. /liliYou are naturally client-oriented and able to establish relationships of trust with professional clients. /liliYou are a collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and contributing to a positive team environment. /liliYou are fluent in Dutch and have a good professional knowledge of French. /li /ulBR/ulliA permanent employment contract w
