Finatal is partnering with an international manufacturing group to hire a Financial Controller for its Belgian operations. This is a hands‑on opportunity to combine strong financial control with direct exposure to operational decision‑making and European finance leadership.
The role
- Own accounting, month‑end close and financial reporting.
- Deliver Belgian statutory, VAT and tax compliance.
- Oversee shared service delivery, intercompany accounting and cash forecasting.
- Turn financial analysis into actionable insights for local management.
- Strengthen controls, lead audit coordination and improve processes.
Your background
- Strong financial controlling and GL accounting experience.
- Confident with Belgian GAAP, VAT and statutory requirements.
- Experience working with shared service centres.
- Proactive, analytical and comfortable challenging performance.
- Fluent English; Dutch and/or French highly desirable.
