Key Responsibilities
1. Platform Development & ArchitectureDesign and implement backend services supporting MADP capabilitiesContribute to an event-driven architecture (event sourcing, CQRS, messaging)Build and evolve platform-level components (not just feature-specific code)Ensure solutions are reusable, scalable, and aligned with platform principles2. API & Integration DesignDesign and implement robust, versioned APIs for data access and integrationEnsure backward/forward compatibility and stability of API contractsIntegrate with upstream and downstream systems (e.g. OnePAM ecosystem)3. Data Modelling & Lifecycle ManagementContribute to domain-driven data modellingManage schema evolution, ensuring minimal impact on consumersEnsure alignment with data governance and data quality rulesUnderstand and handle data lifecycle complexity (creation, update, deletion, versioning)4. Platform Engineering & CI/CDContribute to CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, and promotion flowsSupport the separation between:Platform lifecycleTenant/domain lifecycleImprove automation, deployment standards, and engineering practices5. Operability & ReliabilityEnsure solutions are production-ready and observableContribute to:Monitoring & observabilityIncident resolutionPerformance optimizationSupport a high availability, multi-tenant platform6. Collaboration & Knowledge SharingWork closely with:Architects, Data Stewards, and Product OwnersOperations and Security teamsActively document, explain, and share knowledgeContribute to a transparent and maintainable platform (no “black box” systems)Required Skills & ExperienceCore Technical SkillsStrong experience in backend development (Java / Spring Boot or similar)Proven experience with event-driven systems (Kafka or equivalent)Solid understanding of:Event sourcing and CQRS patternsDistributed systems designStrong experience in API design and integration patternsData & Platform ExpertiseExperience with:Data modelling (schema design, evolution)Handling data lifecycle and versioningFamiliarity with data governance and access control conceptsExperience building or contributing to platforms (not just applications)DevOps & Engineering PracticesKnowledge of:CI/CD pipelinesGit branching strategiesDeployment and release managementFamiliarity with cloud and distributed infrastructureSummaryLocation: Bruxelles Avenue Marnix (ING)Type: Full time
