Role
The E&I Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Port of Antwerp. You will lead electrical and instrumentation field crews and drive daily execution on an industrial project site, making sure the work is delivered safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards.
Day to day you will:
- Supervise electrical and instrumentation field teams at the workface
- Plan and allocate daily work, manpower and materials against the schedule
- Drive productivity, quality and safety on site
- Enforce the permit-to-work system, method statements and site safety rules
- Oversee cable installation, terminations, loop checks and commissioning support
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers and resolve day-to-day site issues
- Report progress and issues to the Site Engineer and construction management
Qualifications
- Trade or technical background in electrical or instrumentation works
- Proven supervisory experience on industrial projects (ports, petrochemical, manufacturing or energy facilities)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams and specifications
- Strong knowledge of cable installation, terminations, loop checks and commissioning support
- Ability to lead multinational crews and uphold safety standards
- Knowledge of site HSE procedures and a commitment to safe work practices
- Effective communication, planning and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in English, and additional regional language skills are a plus
- Previous experience in or around a port or heavy industrial environment is an advantage
Eligibility
- EU or EEA citizenship, or a valid work permit that allows legal employment in Belgium (A1 posting)
- Willingness to work on-site at the Port of Antwerp and adapt to changing project requirements
