As part of its continued development within a broader group environment, the organisation is seeking an experienced leader to oversee, steer, and further consolidate the firm's activities.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement the firm's commercial and strategic priorities
  • Lead and manage senior client relationships and key stakeholder interactions
  • Represent the business with insurers, intermediaries, and group counterparts
  • Oversee and personally contribute to complex advisory and tender assignments
  • Ensure consistency, rigour, and clarity in advisory outputs and documentation
  • Drive business development initiatives and revenue generation
  • Monitor performance, margins, and overall financial results
  • Hold full P&L accountability, with a focus on sustainable profitability
  • Lead, coach, and coordinate a small, experienced advisory team
  • Maintain the firm's positioning as an independent and trusted advisor
  • Support governance, reporting, and internal process enhancement where required

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience within insurance broking, risk consulting, or closely related advisory environments
  • Strong familiarity with insurance tender processes, coverage structures, and policy analysis
  • Broad technical exposure across major commercial risk lines
  • Prior experience in smaller, entrepreneurial, or specialist environments is an advantage
  • Strong commercial judgement and relationship orientation
  • Confident decision-maker with an ownership mindset
  • Credible, discreet, and trusted by senior counterparts
  • Pragmatic leadership style, combining autonomy with accountability
  • Master's degree in Economics, Business, Law, or a related discipline
  • Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is essential
