For one of our clients operating in an international manufacturing environment, we are looking for an experienced Managing Director who will take full responsibility for the company's strategic direction, operational performance, and continued growth. In this role, you will oversee multiple departments, including Production, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Sales, Finance, Human Resources, and Supply Chain. You will ensure that business objectives are translated into measurable results while fostering a high-performing, safe, and future-oriented organization.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and implement the company's short
- and long-term strategic vision.
- Translate business objectives into measurable operational and financial targets.
- Identify growth opportunities, operational improvements, and efficiency initiatives.
- Act as the key liaison between local operations and international leadership teams.
- Monitor overall business performance and implement corrective actions where necessary. Operations & Manufacturing
- Hold overall responsibility for multiple manufacturing sites and operational activities.
- Coach, support, and develop operational leadership teams.
- Monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, productivity, delivery performance, and costs.
- Ensure appropriate resources, staffing, and processes are in place to achieve business objectives.
- Drive a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. Financial Management
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, and capital investment plans.
- Monitor revenue, profitability, operating costs, and financial performance.
- Analyze business results and implement improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate and approve significant investments and strategic projects. Business Development
- Support the development and execution of commercial and growth strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and strategic partners.
- Identify new market opportunities, products, and business initiatives.
- Participate in key negotiations and strategic commercial projects. Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Oversee quality, safety, and compliance programs across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Lead the resolution of significant quality, safety, or compliance issues. People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the management team.
- Build and maintain an organizational structure that supports business growth.
- Partner with HR on talent development, recruitment, succession planning, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professionalism. Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Provide leadership for major engineering, investment, and improvement projects.
- Evaluate investment opportunities based on business priorities, capacity, and return on investment.
- Support the implementation of new technologies, processes, and operational improvements. Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive leadership experience in a senior management position within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience managing multiple departments, business units, or locations.
- Strong understanding of operations, finance, strategic planning, and organizational development.
- Experience coaching and developing leadership teams.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
- Knowledge of quality, safety, and manufacturing processes is considered a strong asset.
- Willingness to travel regularly between different company locations.
