The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
The Role:
We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical / Electromechanical Assembly Technician to join a specialist industrial machinery manufacturer.
You will be responsible for building, assembling, adjusting and testing complete machines and electromechanical assemblies, working from technical drawings, electrical schematics, assembly instructions and production orders.
Your Responsibilities
• Mechanical & electromechanical machine assembly
• Building complete machines from individual components
• Reading technical drawings and electrical schematics
• Wiring electrical panels, motors and machine components
• Installing and testing electrical control panels
• Setting frequency drives and safety relays
• Mechanical adjustment, alignment and testing
• Working with hydraulic & pneumatic systems
• Drilling, tapping, countersinking, grinding and deburring components
• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems during assembly
• Quality control and completion of production documentation
• Testing completed machines before release
Your Profile
Minimum 2 years' relevant technical experience
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
Experience assembling industrial machinery or equipment
Confident reading technical drawings and electrical schematics
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Comfortable using electrical and mechanical tools
Able to diagnose and resolve technical problems independently
Practical, hands-on approach
Dutch language skills required
This is an excellent opportunity for an Assembly Technician, Machine Builder, Electromechanical Technician or Mechanical Fitter who enjoys building sophisticated machinery from the ground up.
