As a senior fiber consultant, you will focus on our vision to expand our fiber network and prepare for fiber-to-the-home connectivity. Key opportunities for the upcoming quarters take place in the following areas: fiber network topology, high- and low-level design, build activities, supporting tools, processes, and documentation
The Network Engineer needs to be able to gather inputs from the surrounding units and translate them into technical requirements, to prepare technical documentation.
Mandatory experience with COAX and fiber technologies.
Experience in working in fiber design and construction.
Your tasks :
Document and explore multiple options to introduce PON technology in our current fiber network topology, starting from high level design options with their cost implementations, and resulting in design guidelines to support the build organization
Write technical documentation to support our key stakeholders Requirements to support RFI/RFP
Technical documentation, input for training and trouble-shooting procedures
Instructions for our construction parties starting from design, civil works, fiber blowing, and spicing
Interface with other engineering teams, build organization, and operatorial teams to acquire requirements and translate them into technical solutions and documentation
Support initiatives to introduce innovative ideas in cooperation with operational & engineering departments
