Senior Software Engineer Full-time

Hybrid (Antwerp, Belgium)

Job Details As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll work closely with the founders and product team to expand the technology of XFA’s cybersecurity platform. You’ll design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing software that protects organizations worldwide.

This role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about technology, curious about cybersecurity, and motivated to make an impact. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across backend, desktop, and mobile applications — contributing directly to the success of our product and shaping the future of security technology.

While legacy technologies rely on complexity to secure devices, XFA automatically finds all unknown and unsafe devices, and blocks them at login to ensure device security — without intrusive device control.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software using

Golang, Flutter, and Typescript.

Create secure and scalable back-end technology used globally

Expand functionality on both desktop and mobile operating systems.

Write automated tests and maintain high-quality, reliable code.

Collaborate with a small, fast-moving team to implement new features and resolve technical challenges.

Participate in code reviews, ensuring coding standards and security best practices are upheld.

Continuously improve developer workflows, build processes, and documentation.

Requirements

Strong experience in software development with Golang, or familiarity with languages such as Python, .NET, or Java and willingness to learn Golang.

Understanding of software security principles and an

interest in cybersecurity.

Excellent communication skills, both asynchronous and synchronous.

Comfortable working independently and proactively in a

fast-moving start-up.

Experience with Flutter, React or Typescript is a plus.

Experience working in an

AI-assisted development workflow

is a plus.

Experience developing cross-platform applications for Windows, macOS, or Linux is an advantage.

Fluent in English; other European languages (e.g., French, German, Dutch) are a plus.
