Lithography Process Engineer | Semiconductor Manufacturing / Process Development / Advanced Lithography

We are currently partnered with a world-leading semiconductor research and technology organisation developing next-generation semiconductor manufacturing processes for advanced logic, memory, and emerging technology applications. As part of their continued innovation programmes, they are looking to hire a Lithography Process Engineer to support the development, optimisation, and transfer of advanced lithography processes for cutting-edge semiconductor technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse and evaluate lithography process development requests for advanced semiconductor manufacturing programmes.
- Design, plan, execute, and analyse lithography process experiments to improve process capability and manufacturing performance.
- Develop, optimise, and qualify high-performance lithography processes for both internal R&D programmes and external customer projects.
- Collaborate with equipment manufacturers, material suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop next-generation lithography technologies.
- Lead process, equipment, and materials development activities across cross-functional and cross-company projects.
- Analyse experimental data and generate actionable, data-driven recommendations to improve process performance and yield.
Key requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, Physics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Commercial experience within semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, or semiconductor research environments.
- Knowledge of semiconductor lithography processes and advanced patterning techniques.
- Understanding of critical dimension (CD) metrology, overlay metrology, or semiconductor process control.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret experimental data and develop data-driven process improvements.
- Experience working within semiconductor fabrication facilities (fabs) or advanced process development environments.
- Knowledge of advanced lithography technologies including EUV, DUV, immersion lithography, or photoresist development. xirbnpk
