Join a team delivering large-scale infrastructure projects focused on the design of new transmission towers and the modification of existing steel structures.
Your Role As a Junior Engineer, you will: Design new steel towers and develop modifications to existing structures. Perform specialized structural calculations and manage engineering study schedules. Guide designers and engineering partners in developing calculation and 3D models. Prepare technical tender documentation and support procurement activities. Participate in factory acceptance and testing of manufactured structures. Provide technical support during project execution and construction preparation. Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders. Monitor quality standards, perform inspections, and prepare technical reports. Drive continuous improvement of calculation methods and engineering tools. Contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects involving high-voltage tower structures.
Your Profile Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Physics, or a related discipline. Strong interest in technical engineering studies and structural analysis. Experience with steel structure design. Familiar with engineering software, 3D design tools, and finite element analysis (FEA). Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, including Eurocodes. Strong organizational skills and sense of ownership. Team player with excellent collaboration skills. Experience in engineering consultancy or technical expertise roles is an advantage. Knowledge of MS Project, VB.NET, VBA scripting, or Fortran is a plus
Languages Fluent in Dutch or French. Professional written and spoken English.
