Company Overview
Our client is a prominent international organization with a large internal data community. To strengthen their central data platform team, we are seeking an experienced professional who seamlessly combines strategic architecture with hands-on platform engineering. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing the organization-wide Data Mesh.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture: Advise on data technologies, safeguard the long-term vision, and align the platform architecture with the overall enterprise strategy and data governance principles.
- Hands-on Engineering: Actively contribute to building the core data stack, troubleshoot complex technical challenges, and foster engineering best practices.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Translate business and technical requirements into actionable epics and roadmaps, maintaining strong collaboration with Product Owners, Data Domain Architects, and the broader data community.
Technical Profile & Stack
- Orchestration & Data Processing: Apache Airflow, Apache Spark
- Data Warehousing & Transformation: Snowflake, dbt
Qualifications & Soft Skills
- Proven experience in platform engineering paired with solution architecture expertise.
- Strong foundation in modern data stacks, scalability, and data modeling.
- Clear and empathetic communicator skilled at explaining complex technical concepts to both engineering peers and business stakeholders.
- Proactive, hands-on mindset dedicated to delivering a seamless user experience across the data platform.
