ph3Technical Architect Integration Services /h3 pstrongHow do you help make a difference? /strong /p pAs a Technical Architect within Integration Services of Infrastructure team, you play a key role in shaping and evolving the organization’s integration landscape. You are responsible for driving the technical vision, governance, and continuous improvement of integration technologies, ensuring they meet current and future business needs. /p pYou work across a diverse ecosystem of integration platforms, including message brokers, event streaming, API management, and managed file transfer solutions (e.g., MQ, Kafka, Axway, AMQP Broker, API Platform). /p pReporting to the Team lead of Integration Services /p pstrongWhat is your role at SNCB? /strong /p pAs a Technical Architect you will take on the following
key responsibilities
/p pstrongArchitecture Strategy /strong /p pDefine and maintain the strongtarget architecture /strong for Integration Services. /p pDesign and evolve strongintegration building blocks /strong to support business projects. /p pMaintain and update strongtechnology roadmaps /strong for both existing and emerging integration solutions. /p pEnsure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and long-term IT strategy. /p pstrongTechnology Evolution Innovation /strong /p pResearch, evaluate, and recommend strongnew integration technologies /strong and patterns. /p pSupport the strongevolution of existing platforms /strong (e.g., performance, scalability, security improvements). /p pDrive adoption of modern integration paradigms such as event-driven architecture and API-first design. /p pstrongGovernance Processes /strong /p pContribute to and improve stronginternal processes and standards /strong within Integration Services. /p pstrongDelivery Support /strong /p pSupport project teams in selecting and implementing appropriate integration solutions. /p pCollaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure robust solutions. /p pIdentify opportunities to strongoptimize integration services /strong and reduce complexity. /p pEnhance strongreusability and standardization /strong of integration components. /p pMonitor industry trends and incorporate relevant innovations. /p h3Requirements /h3 pstrongWhy is this job a good fit for you? /strong /p pstrongTechnical Expertise /strong /p pAt least 5 years of relevant experience as Technical Architect /p pStrong experience with integration technologies such as: /p pMessaging systems (e.g., MQ, AMQP) /p pEvent streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka) /p pManaged file transfer tools (e.g., Sterling) /p pSolid understanding of: /p pIntegration patterns (request/reply, pub/sub, event-driven) /p pMicroservices and distributed systems /p pSecurity protocols (OAuth, TLS, etc.) /p pExperience with cloud and hybrid integration architectures is a plus /p pExperience in Infrastructure as Code and Kubernetes is a plus /p pProven experience in strongsolution and/or enterprise architecture /strong /p pAbility to design strongscalable, resilient, and maintainable integration solutions /strong /p pFamiliarity with architecture frameworks and modeling techniques /p pstrongSoft Skills /strong /p pStrong analytical and problem-solving skills /p pAbility to influence and guide stakeholders across teams /p pExcellent communication and documentation skills /p pProactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement /p pGood knowledge of English and Dutch or French (preferably with at least a passive knowledge of the second language) /p pEveryone is unique.
