ph3About the Role /h3 pWe are looking for anbExpert Network Designer / Architect /bto serve as a design authority for a highly resilient customer-access network within a major international technology organization. You will contribute to the evolution and lifecycle management of abJuniper and Cisco-based network architecture /b, ensuring security, resilience and operational integrity. /p pThe role involves strategic technology evaluations, solution design, technical guidance, security remediation, architecture reviews and complex incident escalation. You will work closely with architects, engineering teams, cybersecurity specialists, business stakeholders, customers and technology partners. Regular on-site presence in Belgium is required to support testing, validation and implementation activities. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liContribute to the evolution of network architecture and technology solutions. /li liEvaluate new network technologies, products and design improvements. /li liProvide expert technical guidance during solution design and implementation. /li liEnsure network designs meet technical, operational and security requirements. /li liAct as a senior escalation point for complex network issues. /li liSupport operational teams with network troubleshooting and incident resolution. /li liCollaborate with technology vendors and cybersecurity teams. /li liAssess network security vulnerabilities and define remediation actions. /li liSupport software upgrades, security patches and configuration improvements. /li liParticipate as a network SME in cross-functional projects. /li liLead design reviews for small-to-medium complexity initiatives. /li liEngage with customers, industry partners and technology suppliers. /li liReview and validate network solution designs. /li liMaintain awareness of emerging technologies and industry best practices. /li liContribute to long-term network technology strategy and continuous improvement. /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 h3Mandatory / Core Skills /h3 ul liExpert-level Network Architecture / Design experience. /li libCisco Routing Switching
