Credit Risk Analyst - International Banking - Brussels M/V/X
Our client is an international corporate and investment banking institution with a strong presence across EMEA. The Belgian office acts as a strategic regional booking center and works closely with international stakeholders across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

- Analyze corporate lending and transaction requests from a credit risk perspective.
- Assess financial performance, business models, cash flows, and transaction structures.
- Prepare credit applications and recommendations for local credit committees.
- Monitor portfolio developments and identify emerging credit risks.
- Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers across Europe.
- Work alongside Compliance, Risk Management, Treasury, and Operations teams.
- Ensure transactions comply with internal risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement of credit assessment processes and reporting.
Profil
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- As from 2 years of experience in Credit Analysis, Corporate Banking, Risk for large companies
- Strong understanding of financial statements, credit risk fundamentals, and financial analysis.
- Ability to assess creditworthiness and formulate balanced risk recommendations.
- Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Fluent in English with at least one additional European language.
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Diligent, professional, intellectually curious, and commercially aware.
