IT Senior Network Engineer Overview We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support network segregation initiatives and maintain a modern LAN infrastructure in a critical operational environment. The role focuses on network security, infrastructure modernization, monitoring, and operational support across enterprise and industrial (OT) environments.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and upgrade Extreme Networks infrastructure (Switching, WiFi, NAC) Configure and manage Extreme switches, Extreme XIQ, and Extreme NAC solutions Monitor and remediate network security vulnerabilities (CVE management) Provide second-line network support to users and technical teams Support disaster recovery and network resilience projects Configure and maintain network monitoring solutions (SolarWinds) Implement and optimize Nozomi solutions for OT network monitoring Support OT network segregation and security initiatives Maintain data center network infrastructure and physical equipment Produce and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and network diagrams Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIS2 requirements Required Profile Senior experience in network engineering and network security Strong expertise with Extreme Networks technologies (Extreme OS, NAC, XIQ) Advanced knowledge of routing protocols, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, LACP, MLAG, and network mirroring Experience with Cisco Routing & Switching environments Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama Knowledge of OT/SCADA environments and industrial networking Experience with network segregation and cybersecurity projects Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Languages French: Full professional proficiency Dutch: Full professional proficiency English: Full professional proficiency Location & Conditions

Location:
Brussels, Belgium Work model: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week on-site) Duration: Initial assignment of approximately 2 years (440 days), renewable up to 880 working days Work schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) Travel: Occasional travel to operational sites in Wallonia may be required
