To further strengthen our corporate security team, imec is looking for an Information Protection & DLP Solution Architect who will take up technical ownership of imec's information protection and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) capabilities. In this hybrid role, you combine strategic architecture responsibilities with hands-on engineering and operational activities. You will define the future vision for information protection at imec while designing, implementing and continuously improving the controls that protect sensitive information from unauthorized disclosure. To further strengthen our corporate security team, imec is looking for an Information Protection & DLP Solution Architect who will take up technical ownership of imec's information protection and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) capabilities.
In this hybrid role, you combine strategic architecture responsibilities with hands-on engineering and operational activities. You will define the future vision for information protection at imec while designing, implementing and continuously improving the controls that protect sensitive information from unauthorized disclosure.
As the technical owner of imec's information protection and DLP capabilities, you will be accountable for the architecture, effectiveness, technical evolution and operational maturity of the solution landscape. You will ensure that imec can continue to collaborate openly and innovatively while protecting its most valuable research, intellectual property and confidential information.
For this position, we are only recruiting payroll employees.
As a DLP Solution Architect, your key responsibilities include:
Define and maintain the target architecture, technical roadmap and standards for imec's information protection and DLP capabilities.
Design, implement, operate and continuously improve information protection and DLP controls across cloud services, endpoints, collaboration platforms and business systems.
Translate business, compliance and security requirements into scalable technical architectures, controls and workflows.
Define and drive the long-term vision for information protection at imec, ensuring capabilities evolve in line with new research activities, strategic collaborations, cloud adoption and AI-driven ways of working.
Develop architecture documentation, implementation standards, technical designs and operational procedures.
Drive continuous improvement through control optimization, automation, reporting and operational excellence.
Provide technical leadership during DLP investigations and incident response activities by analysing alerts, identifying root causes and improving detection effectiveness.
Work closely with security analysts, policy owners, architects and business stakeholders to translate information protection objectives into effective technical capabilities and controls.
Act as the technical authority for information protection and DLP within imec, guiding architectural decisions, technical standards and future capability development.
Drive the evolution of imec's information protection capabilities by evaluating and implementing innovative technologies, including artificial intelligence and advanced analytics, to improve data classification, threat detection, incident prioritization and overall protection effectiveness.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI-driven insights and automation to reduce operational overhead, improve detection quality, minimize false positives and enable more risk-based protection of sensitive information.
Monitor emerging information protection, insider risk and AI-related threats and translate these developments into practical improvements to imec's security posture.
