Responsiblefor developing, monitoring and optimizing of the distribution solutions inEurope. Actively searching new distribution solutions within postal operatorsand private distribution suppliers respecting the global scope of LandmarkGlobal. As a special task, in charge to actively support the E‑Commerce development byacting as an interface with all internalactors (PPM, Technology,Operations, Transport, Trade Services, Bpack…), etc.
Accountabilities:Lead buyer for all alternativedelivery services for bnode and Landmark Global (LG) EuropeManaging &optimizing theADS budget (ca. 15 million €)Negotiating with ADS companiesin order to obtain optimal operational and commercial conditions andtariffs forthe mail and parcel flowsFindcost‑efficient solutionsBuild &maintain formal& informal contacts with ADS companies, business‑relatedorganizations,… in EuropeManagement of contracts betweenbpost, bpi NV, LG and ADS companiesManagement of bilateralagreements between bpost, bpost NV, LG and other postal operatorsList commercial &operational terms in contracts &service levelagreements + develop a system to evaluate these terms objectively.
Follow upof market evolutions:Maintain an up to date networksolutions portfolio by attending the appropriate exhibitions andprofessional networks.
Work out benchmark analysis toidentify the best distribution solutionsPropose theright solutions to senior management with best quality/price ratio but withmain focus to further reduce our spent for final mile delivery.
Report in a clear way theresults of the negotiations to senior management in order for them to takethe correct & most appropriate management/business decisionsMaintainingan up to date EU routing guide, visualizing all important parameters of thedistribution solutions for mail and parcel products within EuropeInitiate changes in thedistribution network and support the necessary communication (prices, datamanagement, etc.)Use datafrom IT systems to evaluate performance and quality and to plan improvementsDevelopbusiness by gaining new contracts, analyzing logistical problems and producingnew solutions;Act asinterface with all internal actors and support them with expertized knowhowwithin the distribution solutions.
