Role Description
We are seeking an EHS Coordinator to join our project team and support the effective
delivery of health, safety, and environmental standards across our construction activities.
This is a hands-on site-based role offering the opportunity to build valuable experience within
a dynamic construction environment, working closely with experienced EHS professionals
and wider project teams.
The EHS Coordinator will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of
health, safety, and environmental systems, helping to ensure compliance with legal,
contractual, and company requirements. The role also involves key coordination and
administrative responsibilities, contributing to the effective day-to-day operation of site EHS
management systems.
Key Responsibilities
EHS Administration & Systems Support
Provide administrative support to the EHS Manager(s) and project teams.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date EHS records and registers.
Manage site safety documentation, permits, and compliance records. TSL Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator

Support the preparation of project-specific EHS plans and procedures. Compliance & Performance Monitoring
Track and update Health & Safety KPIs and performance data.
Maintain accident, incident, and near-miss registers.
Support internal and external audits and inspections.
Assist with legal and contractual compliance reporting. Site Safety Inspections & Risk Management
Support routine site safety inspections and audits.
Assist with risk assessments, method statement reviews, and hazard identification.
Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Help implement corrective and preventive actions. Training, Inductions & Communication
Coordinate and document site inductions and safety briefings.
Support toolbox talks and safety awareness campaigns.
Maintain training records and certification registers.
Distribute safety alerts, notices, and compliance updates. Documentation & Record Management
Maintain records for inductions, permits, certifications, and inspections.
Manage accident and incident documentation.
Support document control for EHS-related systems.
Assist with reporting and regulatory submissions. PPE & Welfare Management
Monitor and manage PPE inventory.
Coordinate PPE distribution to site personnel.
Ensure compliance with PPE requirements.
Support welfare and occupational health initiatives. Project Coordination & Reporting
Attend project and safety meetings.
Prepare meeting minutes and follow-up action logs.
Support EHS reporting to management and clients.
Assist with preparation of site dashboards and presentations. Safety Culture & Engagement
Promote a positive and proactive safety culture.
Support behavioural safety initiatives.
Encourage safe working practices across all site personnel.
Act as an approachable point of contact for safety-related queries. This role may evolve in line with project and organisational needs. Skills and Experience Required Qualifications & Education Essential
Bachelor’s degree (or near completion) in: o Occupational Health & Safety o Civil Engineering o Construction Management o Environmental Science o or related discipline Desirable
NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma (or working towards)
IOSH / OSHA / VCA certification
Other relevant EHS qualifications Experience
0–2 years of relevant work experience, internships, or placement roles in construction, engineering, or EHS.
Previous site-based experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
