Integra is looking for a Distribution Sales Manager (Solvents/Liquid Chemicals) based in the company’s Belgium Office.
The Role
We are looking for a commercially minded Sales Manager to support the continued development and growth of our chemical distribution business. This Sales Manager position for EMEA will drive sustainable sales growth and margin optimization for Integra across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa as part of a growing team.
This role combines sales, business development, customer and supplier management, and commercial coordination. Depending on the experience and strengths of the successful candidate, the position may have a stronger focus on direct customer development and sales or on supporting the Head of Distribution with the coordination of the overall distribution business.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver sales volumes and optimise pricing through contractual and spot market negotiations.
- Build and maintain strategic customer relationships, acting as commercial focal point for allocated accounts and identifying opportunities for new business and portfolio growth.
- Accurately forecast sales, pricing, and market trends; contribute to annual sales budgets, growth targets and commercial planning.
- Manage customer contracts, credit exposure, and payment performance to ensure compliance and profitability.
- Work closely with logistics, finance, trading contract and other internal teams to ensure effective execution, inventory and supply planning, and high service levels.
- Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships, acting as commercial focal point for allocated accounts.
- Collaborate closely with the logistics, finance and trading contract departments to ensure seamless fulfilment and high service levels.
- Monitor competitor activity and market developments to identify opportunities for competitive advantage.
Requirements:
- Min. of 5 years of work experience in the chemical industry, spanning functions such as manufacturing, logistics, business management, with recent sales & marketing experience in the distribution business.
- Strong commercial acumen, good commercial and industry knowledge, including contract law, negotiation, and financial analysis.
- Proven ability to develop customer relationships and commercial opportunities, combined with the ability to analyses and support the broader management of a distribution business.
- Excellent interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with strong cultural awareness.
- Fluent in English required (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
