For a growing hospitality group in Brussels, we are looking for an Accounting & Financial Controller to join its growing finance team.

Our client is an international hospitality group operating a modern hotel in the heart of Brussels. With its restaurants, event spaces and diverse activities, the company offers a dynamic environment where finance is directly connected to the business.
As an Accounting & Financial Controller, you'll join a growing finance team and work closely with the Financial Controller, taking ownership of daily financial operations while contributing to budgeting, reporting and financial analysis.
You'll have the opportunity to bring your expertise, improve existing processes and support a developing team in an international environment.
Accounting & Financial Controller | Your duties and responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting activities, including AP, AR and general ledger operations.
- Participate in monthly and annual closings, reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and P&L analysis.
- Monitor operational costs, purchasing activities and financial performance.
- Prepare financial reports and provide relevant insights to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with department managers to analyse results, control expenses and optimise profitability.
- Support and guide junior finance colleagues in their daily activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and internal controls.
- Work closely with the Financial Controller on various accounting and controlling projects.
Accounting & Financial Controller | Ideal profile
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, audit or financial controlling. Experience in hospitality, retail or another operational environment is an advantage.
- Languages: Fluent English and a good command of French. Any additional language is an asset.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience. Good Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems are expected.
Accounting & Financial Controller | The offer
- Salary: around €4,000 gross/month, depending on experience.
