Our client is looking for an experienced Validation Engineer to define and deliver vehicle validation activities, ensuring robust testing, analysis, and sign-off of automotive systems throughout the product development cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define validation strategies, including virtual validation activities.
- Sign off validation results at SOP and key programme milestones.
- Execute and manage product design validation testing plans.
- Translate technical requirements into structured test requests.
- Coordinate testing activities, planning, and issue resolution to maintain programme progress.
- Analyse and report development test results, ensuring clear technical feedback.
- Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines and testing facilities across Europe.
Must-Have Skills:
- Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the automotive sector.
- Proven experience in automotive testing and validation.
- Strong data analysis and test reporting capabilities.
- Experience with industry-standard tools including VECTOR CANape, CANalyser, AVL CRETA, INCA, and MATLAB.
- Ability to coordinate technical activities and influence stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Hybrid Powertrains and Automatic Transmissions.
