Role Summary
Join AMINDIS, a growing FinTech company developing investment management software for asset managers and insurance companies. As part of our Research & Development team, you will combine your expertise in portfolio management with analytical thinking and a passion for financial markets and technology to help shape the future of our software.
Working closely with business consultants, sales, marketing, and development teams, you will identify emerging market needs, translate them into actionable functional specifications, and contribute to innovative solutions that deliver value to our clients. You will also help strengthen our technology partnerships and support the promotion of new features and innovations.
Success in this role means anticipating client needs, translating complex investment management requirements into practical software enhancements, and helping AMINDIS continuously evolve its solutions in a changing financial and technological landscape.
Responsibilities
- Research current and emerging needs in portfolio management, particularly among asset management companies and insurance companies.
- Translate business and investment management requirements into clear, detailed functional specifications for the development team.
- Identify opportunities for product innovation and propose solutions that address client and market needs.
- Contribute to the development and strengthening of AMINDIS's technology partnerships.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to communicate and promote product innovations to clients and prospects.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure that product developments align with business priorities and deliver meaningful value to users.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in portfolio management.
- Strong knowledge of portfolio investment management and financial markets.
- A genuine interest in technology and software innovation.
- Experience in quantitative finance is an asset.
- Knowledge of database management and programming is a plus.
- Excellent written and spoken French and English.
- Strong analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams while demonstrating autonomy and initiative.
