h3Tasks and responsibilities /h3 pAs a bSenior Test Automation Engineer /b, you verify that developed software behaves as expected, both technically and functionally. You support the software design and delivery team with your testing expertise and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality assurance practices. /p pYou work closely with functional analysts, developers and software engineers within the operations environment. /p ul liReview acceptance criteria and translate them into effective test scenarios. /li liSet up and maintain automation tools such as Playwright. /li liDevelop and execute automated test scripts for UI and API testing. /li liRun end-to-end tests, including integrations with external partners. /li liTrack bugs and issues, and prepare clear test reports. /li liPrepare test estimates and test plans required for projects. /li liHelp improve testing processes and deliverables. /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul liYou have a bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience. /li liYou have at least b7 years of relevant experience in software testing /b. /li liYou have solid experience in UI testing, API testing and test automation of APIs. /li liYou have a good command of Git, Playwright, Groovy, TypeScript and ReadyAPI. /li liYou have experience testing Java services, web services, REST APIs and proxy services. /li liKnowledge of Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence, and of Xray, is an asset. /li liYou are comfortable working in an Agile environment. /li liExperience with AI prompting in a QA context is relevant for this role. /li liYou are fluent in Dutch and English, or in French and English, and you have at least a good understanding of the other national language. /li liYou share knowledge easily, work well with colleagues and communicate openly. /li liYou are eager to keep developing your testing expertise. /li liYou work accurately and bring strong analytical and communication skills. /li /ul h3Where are you going to work and when... /h3 pBrussels with homeworking: 40% office presence is expected, with Friday as a mandatory office day, and 60% remote work. /p h3Offer /h3 pYou will be part of a growing Belgian SME where initiative and personal development are encouraged.
