Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage a high-availability PostgreSQL platform. Define and manage replication, backup, disaster recovery, and lifecycle strategies. Automate database deployments using Ansible and related tools. Provide Level 3 support for enterprise database platforms. Develop database standards, procedures, and technology roadmaps. Mentor and transfer knowledge to internal teams. Support Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExACC) and Microsoft SQL Server environments. Monitor database performance and ensure platform reliability and security. Required Skills & Experience Strong expertise in PostgreSQL administration and architecture. Experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server . Knowledge of Ansible , Linux (Red Hat) , and VMware vSphere . Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam preferred). Familiarity with Grafana , Zabbix , ServiceNow , and ITIL practices. Experience designing database roadmaps, standards, and operational procedures. Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor colleagues. Languages Native or bilingual proficiency in Dutch or French . Full professional proficiency in English . Good knowledge of the second national language is an advantage. Location Brussels, Belgium Hybrid – Minimum 3 days onsite per week , including every Monday .
