You contribute to the evolution of the data architecture by aligning Power BI datasets, dataflows and reporting standards with business needs, security requirements and long-term maintainability. You actively support a future-proof BI environment that enables both reliable management reporting and controlled self-service analytics across the organization. /li libBusiness Intelligence Enablement: /b You work closely with business stakeholders, IT colleagues and reporting experts to understand data requirements and translate them into sustainable technical solutions to maximize reporting effectiveness. /li libData Modeling Integration: /b You design, build and maintain robust data models that support business intelligence and analytics use cases. You manage data transformations and integration logic, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the data landscape. /li libData Quality Reliability: /b You monitor and improve data quality, integrity and performance across the entire data platform. You proactively identify and resolve issues to guarantee trustworthy and decision-ready data. /li /ul h3Who are you? /h3 ul liYou hold a bBachelor's or Master’s degree /bin a relevant field (e.g. Data, IT, Engineering, Computer Science or similar). /li liYou are bhighly proficient in English /band can communicate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders and leadership teams across our local and international operations. Knowledge of bDutch /b is considered a bstrong advantage /b. /li liYou bring bsolid experience /b as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role, working with modern data platforms and integration technologies. /li liYou possess bstrong SQL expertise /b and have experience developing, optimizing and troubleshooting complex data solutions. /li liYou have bhands-on experience /b with Azure Data Platform technologies, Data Lakes, ETL/ELT processes and data modeling. /li liYou are familiar with bPower BI and/or Microsoft Fabric /band understand the backend principles required to support performant and scalable reporting environments. /li liYou have a solid bunderstanding of data architecture /b principles and know how to build solutions that are scalable, robust and maintainable. /li liYou have a strong bfocus on data /b quality, reliability and performance, and take pride in delivering stable and efficient data solutions. /li liYou are a bhands-on technical /b specialist who enjoys solving complex problems and working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. /li liYou bcommunicate clearly /b and work effectively with colleagues across business and IT functions to deliver impactful data solutions. /li /ul h3What does your team look like? /h3 pAs abData Engineer /b, you will be part of DESOTEC's growing data organization and work closely together with data and reporting professionals.
