- ALTEN Belgium The position As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a AIT Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects located in Brussels. As a AIT Engineer, you main responsibilities will include:
- Mechanical and electrical assembly, integration and testing of satellites and prototypes
- RF testing of the satellite RF chain and payload: connectors, cabling, antennas, anechoic chamber measurements; turn measurements into insights
- Environmental testing (vibration, thermal vacuum), preparation, execution, reporting
- Ground support equipment for handling and testing; support to launcher integration activities
- Support and review of the mechanical, thermal and electrical design; test procedures and documentation
Your profile
- Experience in satellite AIT (assembly, integration & testing).
- Strong knowledge of RF systems, antennas, cabling and RF measurements.
- Hands-on experience with both AIT and RF testing.
- Familiarity with vibration and thermal vacuum (TVAC) testing.
- Proficiency with VNA, spectrum analyzers, power meters and signal generators.
- Knowledge of Python, CAD and test automation is a plus.
- Understanding of ECSS standards, cleanroom and ESD practices.
- Autonomous, hands-on and comfortable in a fast-paced New Space environment.
- Full proficiency in English is required (French is a plus) Working Conditions
