As a Data Consultant in Brussels, you will contribute to the growth of mc2i in Belgium and work with a major client - a key player in the energy sector - on strategic projects.

You bring your expertise in Data (Dataiku, Databricks, etc.) and programming (SQL, Python, etc.) to all project phases.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis and Design
    • Gathering and analyzing stakeholder needs.
    • Identifying and benchmarking solutions that meet the needs.
    • Evaluating the impact of the proposed solution on the user process and system maintenance.
    • Identifying functional and technical dependencies within the system and with others (upstream, downstream dependencies).
  • Deployment and Coordination
    • Supporting development teams during the design phase and ensuring that functional/technical specifications comply with the proposed solution and business requirements.
  • Tests
    • Preparing and carrying out tests of the solutions once delivered by the development team and providing all necessary documentation (test plan, tracking tool, incident management, etc.).
  • Change Management/Project Adoption
    • Assisting users in preparing communication and training plans, as well as in creating and leading workshops and training sessions.
  • You will manage these Data projects end to end, from defining business needs to implementation, reporting to a local Manager.

Qualifications

  • Perpetual contract (CDI) in Brussels.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data.
  • Skills in data analysis, data engineering, data visualization.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with at least two of Dataiku, Databricks, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
  • Experience with at least one of PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker.
  • Initial experience in the energy sector preferred.
  • Knowledge of AI appreciated.
  • Passion for new technologies and their evolution.
  • Initial consulting experience is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • Bilingual.
