Purpose:IM SC Transcend is an IM wide business transformation program. The objective is to implement streamlined and standardized processes on a new global SAP system, together with commercial, supply chain and R&D. The scope entails the following business processes: study management (clinical finished goods), planning & sourcing, manufacturing, packaging and labelling, distribution, warehouse mgt, transportation and global trade, quality and finance.
The Transcend R&D BPO end to end is responsible for identifying capabilities in scope of Transcend which will support business needs and strategies across the R&D supply chain. He/She will define the related business value in working closely with global and site R&D leadership teams.

As BPO for R&D you will work closely with the other BPO’s from IM Supply Chain.
You will be responsible to:Lead the development of an R&D capability roadmap across business functions, define value opportunities and translate into measurable outcomes.
Re-engineer and re-design business processes as input to a global R&D Transcend template solutionPartner with senior R&D Leadership, Innovative Medicine Supply Chain and Transcend Leadership to define the end-to-end process vision for R&D and secure timely decisions on standardization, harmonizationInfluence portfolio management decisions in different functions to prepare for Transcend.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of R&D BPOs by sub process (make, logistics and global trade, study management, plan/source), build process ownership capabilityEmbed compliance-by-design and audit readiness across process decisionsDrive continuous improvement after launch by establishing a sustainable backlog, prioritization model.

Requirements:

Education:
Minimum of a Master’s degree is required, preferably in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
Required: Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in R&D, Clinical Supply Chain, Supply Chain, Technology (SAP), or large-scale enterprise transformation programs

Demonstrated success in global business process re-engineering, ERP-enabled transformation, operating model change, or global template governance in a complex regulated environment.
Proven ability to set strategic direction, translate business strategy into capability roadmaps.
Strong people leadership experience, including leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams in a global environment.
