- F5 / Palo Alto Network Security Specialist – Brussels For one of our clients in Brussels, we are looking for an experienced F5 / Palo Alto Network Security Specialist to join a critical and business-essential biometric ICT project. You will work within a multidisciplinary team of internal and external experts and contribute to an infrastructure that operates 24/7 and is used by thousands of field users. Your responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure the correct implementation of security policies.
- Implement and manage the ABIS, F5 and Palo Alto infrastructure.
- Follow up on infrastructure changes and perform troubleshooting when required.
- Handle and resolve technical tickets related to the project.
- Contribute effectively to crisis and security incident situations, including organized attacks, network intrusions and virus detection.
- Recommend technical solutions to secure connections with external partners, the intranet and the internet.
- Produce clear technical documentation and reports. Your technical expertise Required:
- F5 BIG-IP – LTM, APM & ASM/AWAF – Confirmed
- Palo Alto firewalls – Confirmed
- TCP/IP
- HTTP / HTTPS
- SSL
- SNMP Experience with monitoring and log correlation tools:
- Splunk
- Nessus
- ELK

- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: Until 31 December 2026, with possibility of extension into 2027
- Work arrangement: Minimum 2 days per week on-site, depending on the activities and in agreement with the team
- Remote work possible from home or the employer's premises in Belgium
- Team: Multidisciplinary team combining internal and external specialists
