About the Role We are looking for an experienced

Integration & Workflow Engineer

to design, develop, and optimize enterprise integration solutions that connect complex information systems across a secure and scalable architecture. You will play a key role in API design, event-driven architectures, workflow automation, and cloud-native integration platforms, ensuring seamless communication between business-critical applications. As part of an international and multicultural team, you will collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to build reliable, secure, and maintainable integration solutions that support digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Design, plan, and implement integration strategies and patterns, including API-led and event-driven architectures. Develop secure APIs and expose them through enterprise API Gateway platforms. Design, implement, and document business events for enterprise event streaming platforms. Build and maintain workflow solutions using BPMN-based workflow engines and orchestration technologies. Develop and deploy integration solutions within containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment processes. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration services to ensure performance, reliability, scalability, and security. Apply distributed architecture best practices to solve complex system integration challenges. Collaborate with engineering teams to enforce integration standards, security requirements, and architectural guidelines. Produce technical documentation, architecture designs, operational procedures, and integration reports.

Required Skills & Experience Technical Expertise Strong experience with

HTTP protocols and API design . Excellent knowledge of

Java EE (JEE)

development. Hands-on experience with

RESTful APIs

and

SOAP Web Services . Strong experience with at least one

BPMN Workflow Engine . Excellent knowledge of asynchronous communication technologies, including: Apache Kafka JMS Publish/Subscribe architectures Strong understanding of integration testing methodologies and best practices. Experience with

Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud-Native Architectures . Knowledge of

gRPC

and

Protocol Buffers (Protobuf) . Experience with

Microservices Architectures

and distributed systems. Good understanding of

Complex Event Processing . Strong knowledge of: OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect Web Security concepts Experience with integration platforms such as: MuleSoft Apache Camel Oracle Service Bus (OSB) Experience with API Management platforms such as: WSO2 CAPI Experience with CI/CD tools such as: Jenkins Bamboo GitLab CI

Preferred Qualifications One or more certifications in: Java EE (JEE) Business Process Management (BPM) Microservices Architecture Domain-Driven Design (DDD) Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) API Design and Security

Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong documentation and technical writing abilities. Ability to create architecture documents for complex integration solutions.
