You will work closely with various teams, including engineers, planners, project managers, and designers, to efficiently leverage geographic information in operational and decision-making processes. /ppYou will join the Information Management team, reporting to the BIM/GIS Manager. In addition, you will collaborate closely with GIS and BIM colleagues across BESIX Belgium and Nederland. /ph3Responsibilities and Tasks /h3ulliDevelop and manage GIS maps, datasets, and applications for ongoing and future projects in Belgium and internationally. /liliAnalyze and visualize geographic information to provide insights into project areas. /liliIntegrate GIS data with BIM models and other technical systems. /liliAutomate spatial analyses and data processing using Python, FME, or other GIS tools. /liliCollaborate with teams in the Netherlands and Belgium to optimize best practices and data exchange. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor's or Master's degree in Geoinformatics or another relevant field. /lilibMinimum of 3 years of experience /b in a similar role. /liliExperience within the construction industry on large-scale (over €25 million) or complex infrastructure projects is an asset. /liliProven hands-on experience with ArcGIS Pro. /liliProven experience with Python and FME. /liliExperience with ArcGIS Online and/or ArcGIS Enterprise. /liliExperience working with (Enterprise) Geodatabases. /liliExperience with BIM-related data is considered a plus. /liliExperience with drone data is considered a plus. /liliExperience using GIS in relation to other information systems, such as Relatics, is considered a plus. /lilibExcellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and French /b; English is a strong asset. /liliAbility to collaborate effectively with diverse international teams and stakeholders. /liliStrong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems. /liliAbility to maintain processes under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. /liliA proactive mindset to further promote and expand the use of GIS within BESIX and its projects. /liliAbility to motivate, train, and guide others. /liliAbility to identify opportunities where innovation can improve efficiency and enhance the work of others. /li /ulh3Additional Information /h3pA career at BESIX is a lot more than just a job, it's about being part of our changing and innovative world.
