The Project Engineer HVAC entails being responsible for the end-to-end implementation and project management of HVAC and clean utilities projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, particularly involving the construction of cleanrooms. This includes conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering, ensuring designs align with internal standards and customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating the purchase, installation, start-up, and verification/validation of equipment and piping
- Generating necessary documentation such as P&IDs, functional specifications, and validation documents
- Ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance (GMP, ISO, ICH, Quality Standards)
- Facilitating Quality Risk Assessments Qualifications
- Higher technical education, such as an Industrial or Civil Engineer degree, or equivalent relevant experience
- Relevant experience with HVAC systems in a similar position is essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, assertiveness, multitasking ability, and proven skills in setting priorities
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team concept
- Knowledge of GMP, 6 sigma methodology, and risk management tools like FMEA is required
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English is necessary
- Experience in executing Engineering (Capex) projects and planning/project coordination (e.g., MS Project) is highly valued
