Senior Project Leader – Financial Markets | Treasury & Finance

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Leader to join a major organisation within the Financial Services sector for a long-term assignment in Brussels.
Mission
You will take end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of large and complex projects within a Financial Markets / Treasury & Finance environment, from initial analysis and solution definition through implementation, testing, acceptance and final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of complex projects from initiation to successful delivery.
- Analyse business and technical requirements and help define the most appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
- Define and manage project plans, milestones, scope, budget, resources, risks and dependencies.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary and transversal teams across Business and IT.
- Ensure alignment between functional and technical architecture and project implementation.
- Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and mitigation actions.
- Coordinate integration and acceptance testing.
- Manage change requests and related impact assessments.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams and sub-projects.
- Organise and chair Steering Committees and project governance meetings.
- Ensure clear communication and reporting towards senior management and key stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver executive presentations and project reporting.
- Manage large-scale projects exceeding 1,000 man-days.
Profile
- Strong experience as a Project Leader / Senior Project Manager in complex enterprise environments.
- Solid experience within Financial Services, ideally Financial Markets, Treasury or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies and governance.
- Proven experience managing scope, budget, planning, resources, risks and dependencies.
- Experience coordinating large multidisciplinary Business & IT teams.
- Strong stakeholder and senior management communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving capabilities. xlxgzvr
