Job Overview

NN and ING jointly operate the One Orange Team, the fastest growing digital insurance brand in Belgium. The team offers non‑life, life, and investment solutions. We are looking for a Sales Consultant (Life & Non‑Life) for the Antwerp and Limburg region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and strengthen commercial performance within the existing partnership with ING.
  • Act as primary point of contact between ING agencies, NN, and ING.
  • Map, own, and build personal relationship management with your portfolio of agencies.
  • Conduct performance meetings, set objectives, and create action plans for under‑performing agencies.
  • Create and deliver presentations and training sessions on life and non‑life products.
  • Maintain strong agency relationships, provide product and commercial support, capture feedback, and follow up on improvement initiatives.
  • Identify agency needs and offer appropriate advice.
  • Monitor market developments, anticipate competitor actions, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Coordinate distribution‑related projects, collaborate with internal ING and NN stakeholders, translate strategic objectives into concrete plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of distribution processes and commercial operations.
  • Report directly to the Go‑To‑Market Manager.

Qualifications

  • Higher education degree (minimum Bachelor), preferably commercial.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales, account management, product management, or customer care in the insurance sector.
  • Experience in project management or demonstrable ability to develop such skills.
  • Mother tongue Dutch with good knowledge of French and English.
  • Customer‑focused, results‑oriented, strong advisory, training, and presentation skills.
  • Pragmatic, autonomous, responsible for convincing a group of agencies, and able to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to explain complex topics clearly.
  • Team player prioritizing collective goals, eager to learn, and motivated to master retail insurance products.
  • Analytical, structured approach to observations, and capable of defining structured action plans.
  • Experience coordinating projects or change initiatives within a commercial or distribution context.
