IT Infrastructure Project Manager

pWe are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager with a strong technical background to support and manage a variety of IT infrastructure projects in the Ghent region. /ppThis is a hands-on role combining technical involvement in IT infrastructure with end-to-end project management responsibilities. You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering multiple infrastructure projects, while also being able to understand the technical challenges, contribute to technical discussions and work closely with infrastructure teams. /ppThe ideal candidate combines solid project management skills with practical knowledge of IT infrastructure and is comfortable operating at both the technical and organizational levels. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3h3Project Management /h3ulliManage multiple IT infrastructure projects from initiation through planning, execution and delivery. /liliDefine project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements. /liliCoordinate internal IT teams, external suppliers, technical specialists and other stakeholders. /liliMonitor project progress, budgets, risks, dependencies and deadlines. /liliOrganize project meetings, report on progress and communicate project status to relevant stakeholders. /liliIdentify potential issues and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project delivery. /liliEnsure projects are delivered according to agreed quality standards, business requirements and security policies. /li /ulh3Technical IT Infrastructure /h3ulliActively contribute to the technical aspects of infrastructure projects, working closely with infrastructure engineers and architects. /liliUnderstand and coordinate infrastructure activities across areas such as servers, networks, storage, cloud environments, virtualization, workplace infrastructure and data centers. /liliSupport technical analysis, solution design discussions, implementation planning and infrastructure migrations. /liliChallenge technical proposals where necessary and help translate business requirements into practical infrastructure solutions. /liliCoordinate infrastructure changes, upgrades, installations and migrations while minimizing operational disruption. /liliEnsure appropriate documentation, testing, handover and knowledge transfer following project completion. /li /ulh3Stakeholder Team Coordination /h3ulliAct as the central point of contact between technical teams, business stakeholders, management and external partners. /liliAlign technical activities with business priorities and operational requirements. /liliFacilitate collaboration across multiple teams and manage competing priorities. /liliEnsure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders. /li /ulh3Your Profile /h3ulliProven experience as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, Infrastructure Project Lead or in a similar technical project management role. /liliStrong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and environments. /liliExperience managing multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously. /liliAbility to combine hands-on technical involvement with structured project management. /liliExperience coordinating multidisciplinary IT teams and external suppliers. /liliStrong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. /liliExcellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities. /liliProactive, pragmatic and results-oriented approach. /liliAbility to work independently in a freelance environment. /li /ulpIf you are a technically strong IT Infrastructure Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects from planning through delivery, we would be happy to hear from you. /p
