pWe're looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our client's team and contribute to the continuous development and modernization of a business-critical digital platform. You'll work across the entire technology stack in a demanding production environment where security, reliability and service continuity are key priorities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of existing applications while driving technical improvements. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop, test and maintain web applications across the backend and frontend. /li liBuild and integrate REST APIs and contribute to the evolution of application architecture. /li liTake ownership of an existing codebase, progressively modernizing legacy components and improving overall maintainability. /li liIdentify and resolve technical issues, including security vulnerabilities and complex production incidents. /li liRefactor existing code to improve architecture, separation of concerns, performance and code quality. /li liEnsure application stability, security and reliability through testing, code reviews and best development practices. /li liDocument technical developments and collaborate closely with developers, analysts and other stakeholders. /li /ul h3Technical Profile /h3 ul liStrong professional experience with PHP and solid knowledge of modern JavaScript. /li liHands-on experience with a modern PHP framework, preferably Laravel; strong Symfony experience is also welcome. /li liExperience with a modern JavaScript framework, with Vue.js considered a significant advantage. /li liGood knowledge of SQL, REST APIs and Git. /li liAbility to work independently across the full stack, from backend development to frontend implementation. /li liProven experience maintaining and evolving complex applications in production environments. /li liStrong understanding of software architecture, secure coding practices, error handling, testing and maintainable code. /li liAbility to quickly understand an existing codebase, analyse technical challenges and implement pragmatic solutions. /li liA proactive, autonomous and motivated mindset, with a willingness to learn and strengthen skills in less familiar technologies. /li liPrevious experience with legacy application modernization, high-availability environments or security-sensitive systems is a plus. Public-sector experience is also an asset. /li /ul h3Practical Information /h3 ul liLocation: Brussels, with hybrid working arrangements (up to 3 remote working days per week) /li liLanguages: Professional English is required, both written and spoken.
