pWe are looking for an experienced bGIS Functional Technical Lead /b to act as the key link between business stakeholders, end users and technical teams. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the GIS team, ensuring business requirements are translated into effective technical solutions while coordinating activities across the team. /p pThis role combines functional leadership, technical understanding and operational coordination. You will play an important part in supporting the organisation's adoption of modern GIS technologies, including bEsri Utility Network, Feature Services and modern web applications /b. /p pYou will facilitate workshops, support end users, coordinate stakeholders and ensure smooth communication between business and IT. You will also translate business requirements into functional specifications and follow their implementation throughout the project lifecycle. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liAct as the primary link between business stakeholders, end users and technical GIS teams. /li liSupport and coordinate the daily operations of the GIS team. /li liTranslate business requirements into functional specifications and oversee their implementation. /li liSupport the adoption and rollout of modern GIS technologies, including bUtility Network, Feature Services and web applications /b. /li liOrganise and facilitate workshops, providing guidance and support to end users. /li liCoordinate incident management, performance-related issues and functional analyses. /li liWork closely with other application teams to resolve integration challenges and operational issues. /li liManage team planning, priorities and workload, ensuring alignment with project objectives. /li liTranslate strategic GIS roadmap initiatives into actionable work packages. /li liGather user feedback and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. /li liSupport the rollout of thematic maps and GIS portal functionalities. /li liCommunicate complex functional and technical concepts clearly to different stakeholders. /li liCoach and guide team members while supporting organisational change and GIS transformation initiatives. /li /ul h3Required Experience Skills /h3 ul liProven experience in a GIS Functional Lead, GIS Team Lead, GIS Consultant or similar position. /li liStrong understanding of GIS technologies, applications and business processes. /li liExperience with bEsri Utility Network, Feature Services and modern GIS web applications /b. /li liAbility to translate business requirements into functional specifications. /li liExperience coordinating technical teams and working with multiple stakeholders. /li liUnderstanding of GIS integrations, incident management and performance-related issues. /li liExperience supporting GIS implementations, transformations or technology rollouts. /li liStrong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills. /li liA proactive and coaching-oriented approach to team leadership. /liliAbility to bridge the gap between functional business requirements and technical delivery. /li /ul
