About the Role


As an Electrical Engineering Consultant, you will contribute to technical projects across energy, electricity, electrification, electrical infrastructure and industrial environments, while progressively developing the broader skills required to become a strong consultant.

Over time, your trajectory can expand towards project coordination, client interaction, stakeholder management and other dimensions of consulting. The objective is not to push you away from engineering, but to help you discover where your technical foundation can create the most value.


Responsibilities

  • Contribute to technical projects involving electrical infrastructure, energy systems, electrification or related industrial environments
  • Analyse technical challenges and translate them into structured, pragmatic recommendations
  • Support project delivery through analysis, documentation, coordination and follow-up
  • Work with technical experts, project teams and client stakeholders to understand requirements and constraints
  • Participate in workshops, technical discussions and decision-making processes
  • Identify risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities within your scope
  • Communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Progressively develop greater ownership of deliverables, workstreams and stakeholder interactions
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuously expand your understanding beyond your initial engineering domain


Qualifications & Experience


Engineering Background

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering with a relevant specialisation, or an equivalent technical field
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to understand complex technical systems
  • Professional proficiency in Dutch, French and English
  • Early-career professionals and engineers with a few years of experience are both welcome


Technical Exposure

Experience or academic exposure in one or more of the following areas is considered an asset:

  • Electrical and power systems
  • Electrical networks and grid infrastructure
  • Energy systems and electrification
  • High-voltage or high-power environments
  • Charging infrastructure
  • Industrial electrical systems or automation
  • Integration of new technologies into physical infrastructure
  • Digitalisation of energy or industrial environments

  • Curiosity and an interest in understanding the broader context behind technical decisions
