IT Project Manager – SAP Infrastructure & Technical Transformation Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate critical infrastructure and technical transformation initiatives within a complex SAP On-Premise environment. The role focuses on server migrations, database transformation projects, roadmap governance, cybersecurity compliance coordination, and stakeholder management across multiple technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Governance Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements. Develop project plans, milestones, dependency maps, and capacity planning. Manage risks, issues, change requests, and governance processes. Coordinate internal teams, external suppliers, and key stakeholders. Provide regular reporting to management and steering committees. SAP Infrastructure Migration Lead server migration projects across development, testing, and production environments. Coordinate infrastructure, network, storage, backup, monitoring, and security activities. Manage migration planning, testing, cutover activities, and rollback strategies. Ensure successful transition to operational support teams. Database Transformation Projects Coordinate database migration and optimization initiatives within SAP environments. Manage technical dependencies involving SAP Basis, infrastructure, database, and vendor teams. Oversee testing, validation, performance monitoring, and risk mitigation activities. Support decision-making related to costs, licensing optimization, and technical trade-offs. Technical Roadmap Management Facilitate workshops with architects, infrastructure, security, and application teams. Develop and maintain a prioritized technical roadmap. Identify technology obsolescence risks and modernization opportunities. Monitor roadmap execution and support governance decisions. Security & Compliance Coordination Coordinate cybersecurity and compliance-related initiatives. Track remediation actions, risks, dependencies, and progress. Collaborate with security, architecture, infrastructure, and compliance teams. Ensure security and regulatory requirements are integrated into infrastructure projects. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience managing complex IT infrastructure projects. Strong background in technical migration projects involving servers, databases, or critical platforms. Knowledge of infrastructure environments including servers, storage, networking, backup, monitoring, and security. Experience managing project dependencies, risks, budgets, and stakeholder communication. Experience coordinating internal teams, external suppliers, and service providers. Familiarity with SAP environments and enterprise application ecosystems. Experience with cybersecurity, compliance, audit, or regulatory initiatives is an asset. Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project. Knowledge of ServiceNow and SharePoint is beneficial. Soft Skills Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities. Strong planning, reporting, and escalation management capabilities. Languages French or Dutch: Native/Bilingual proficiency. French or Dutch (second national language): Good working knowledge. English: Professional working proficiency. Location Brussels, Belgium. Hybrid working model with onsite presence required 2–3 days per week. Nice to Have PRINCE2 certification. Experience in public transportation or large public-sector organizations. Experience with SAP infrastructure, SAP Basis, or SAP technical transformation projects. Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks, compliance programs, or NIS2-related initiatives.
