About the role
In this VeroTech consultancy role, you help build C# Windows software for a modular platform used to create research tools, prototypes, and software modules. You work across the full lifecycle, from design and implementation through testing, verification, deployment, and documentation. The environment brings together software, hardware, and research, so you also contribute to architecture, interfaces, and integration within a complex ecosystem.
You collaborate closely with researchers, data analysts, clinical experts, and embedded engineers to turn user needs into technical requirements and working solutions. The role also involves RS485 and serial communication, with occasional oscilloscope checks to verify hardware-software interfaces. You help shape new algorithms, UI screens, backend migrations, and research tooling for the next platform.

Build C# Windows research tools, prototypes, and modules for a modular software platformDrive features through the full lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, verification, deployment, and documentationShape architecture, interfaces, and integration in a complex hardware-software ecosystemTranslate user needs into technical requirements and turn them into working softwareCreate your own sprint tickets, priorities, and planning in a four-week sprint rhythmPerform system and functional testing, including verification of RS485 or serial communication when neededContribute to new algorithms, UI screens, backend migrations, and research toolingWhat we're looking forWe are looking for a hands-on C# software engineer with strong Windows experience, comfortable working autonomously in a research environment where solutions evolve quickly and ownership matters.
