key responsibilities
As a Back-Up Foreman, you are a key player on the shop floor. You combine hands-on warehouse tasks with guiding and coordinating your team. Your main responsibilities include:
- Leading the team: You assign tasks, motivate your colleagues, and make sure daily operations run smoothly.
- Supporting the Supervisor: You assist in managing order volumes and serve as the main point of contact on the floor.
- Hands-on teamwork: Whenever you're not step-in leading as Foreman, you roll up your sleeves for order picking and replenishment.
- Quality & safety first: You keep the warehouse organized, inspect outgoing goods, and strictly enforce safety guidelines.
- qualifications You are energetic, organized, and great with people. You know how to motivate others and keep a clear overview of the work. You also meet the following criteria:
- Logistics

experience:
You already have experience working in a logistics environment (e.g., as a warehouse worker or order picker).
- Communication: You speak and understand Dutch well, ensuring smooth communication of safety rules and daily planning.
- Flexibility: You are ready to work in a rotating 2-shift system (early and late shifts).
