Freelance Azure Cloud Engineer - Transformational Cloud Migration - Long Term

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Azure Cloud Engineer to support a major cloud transformation programme focused on integrating the technology environments of two organisations. The role will involve designing, migrating, and modernising Azure infrastructure while ensuring a secure, scalable, and seamless integration of systems and services.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure as part of the transformation programme.
- Support the migration and integration of workloads, applications, and infrastructure between the two organisations.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM.
- Configure Azure networking, identity, security, compute, storage, and connectivity services.
- Automate cloud provisioning, deployment, and operational processes.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices across the new environment.
- Monitor and optimise cloud performance, availability, security, and costs.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and migration issues.
Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience delivering cloud migration, transformation, or infrastructure integration projects.
- Knowledge of Azure networking, Entra ID, compute, storage, and security.
- Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and cloud-native technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. xlxgzvr
