Rôle : Business Analyst

Location : Ghent, Belgium

Contract : Freelance

Description :

Role

Responsible for gathering detailed requirements and functional specifications for the development and improvement of IT systems.
Works closely with the Solution Architect, Project Manager, and relevant business teams to exchange knowledge on functional and regulatory requirements.
Develops functional specifications, produces deliverables related to assigned project(s), and assists with post-implementation support.
Works with suppliers implementing the systems to ensure that the required functionalities are communicated and validated for correctness and completeness.
Develops user test cases and validates test results during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Updates process documentation and creates reusable and shareable assets.

Requirements

Experience writing User Stories, Story Maps, and functional requirements.
Experience creating Use Cases.
Ability to define non-functional requirements.
Ability to define acceptance criteria.
Technical background in technologies such as Java or .NET, cloud environments (Microsoft Azure), or SaaS solutions, particularly regarding data integration techniques.
Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.
Languages: English and Dutch.
Ability to analyze business partner activities to understand their strengths and weaknesses.
Good understanding of IT systems and the capabilities of the IT organization.
Process-oriented mindset.
Strong analytical thinking.
Knowledge of business functions.
Experience with or knowledge of EU legislation is a plus, but not a requirement.
