h3Quality Safety Engineer (M/F/X) /h3 pIn order to unite all the living forces around our future projects, we are looking for a /p pTechnical Department /p h3Your mission: /h3 pSONACA Engineering is looking for an Engineering Quality and Safety Engineer to support the deployment and continuous improvement of the Sonaca Group’s design assurance and engineering quality. The position is open to candidates with initial relevant experience as well as more experienced professionals willing to develop their expertise in this field. /p pEngineering Quality and Safety ensures that SONACA’s engineering activities meet airworthiness, safety, quality and design requirements. The department supports engineering teams by maintaining effective processes, ensuring compliance with Design Assurance and DOA requirements, and promoting quality improvement across the organization. It also helps manage risks, improve performance and enhance customer satisfaction. /p h3Main Activities of Engineering Quality Safety /h3 pDepending on the candidate’s experience, interests and development objectives, the position may cover several of the following

responsibilities:
/p h3Governance, Compliance Design Assurance /h3 ulliContribute to maintaining and continuously improving the Engineering Quality and Design Assurance Management Systems. /liliContribute to ensuring compliance with applicable customer, regulatory and certification requirements, including EN9100, EASA Part 21 Subpart J and customer-specific requirements. /liliSupport the consistent application of airworthiness and safety requirements throughout engineering activities. /li /ul h3Quality Assurance Audits /h3 ulliAct as the Engineering Quality focal point for customers and maintain related interface documentation. /liliDefine surveillance plans and conduct internal audits. /liliPrepare and support customer, authority and third-party audits. /liliAssess and monitor the adequacy of quality systems implemented by subsidiaries, partners and subcontractors. /li /ul h3Project Operational Quality /h3 ulliEnsure operational quality assurance for engineering projects, including coordination with subsidiaries and suppliers. /liliParticipate in project reviews and engineering gates. /liliSupport root cause analyses and the definition of corrective and preventive actions. /liliEnsure the quality governance of prototype and tooling activities. /liliContribute to the creation, deployment and continuous improvement of engineering processes in coordination with process owners and relevant stakeholders. /liliDefine and maintain engineering gate criteria, templates and methodologies. /liliPromote process excellence, lessons learned and best practices across the Group. /liliSupport the process-centric engineering organization. /liliSupport the management and continuous improvement of engineering signature delegation process. /liliContribute to the development and delivery of training on airworthiness, safety, quality and Design Assurance requirements. /liliCommunicate applicable regulations, standards and customer requirements. /liliPromote a strong Quality Safety culture throughout SONACA Engineering. /li /ul h3Performance Risk Management /h3 ulliDefine, monitor and report Engineering Quality Safety KPIs. /liliConsolidate technical, organizational and project risks, issues and opportunities. /liliSupport management reviews and decision-making through performance and risk reporting. /liliDrive continuous improvement initiatives based on KPI’s, audit findings and lessons learned. /li /ul h3Your profile: /h3 ulliMaster's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent. /liliMinimum 3 years of professional experience in engineering, quality, certification, project management or a related technical field. /liliExperience in the aerospace industry, regulated environments or quality management systems is a plus, but not a mandatory requirement. /liliStrong interest in Quality, Safety, Airworthiness and Design Assurance activities. /liliBasic understanding of engineering development processes. /liliKnowledge of quality management principles and continuous improvement methods is an advantage. /liliInterest in aerospace regulations, certification and compliance requirements. /liliAbility to analyse data, identify risks and support problem-solving activities. /liliStrong analytical and structured mindset. /liliCuriosity and willingness to learn. /liliGood communication and interpersonal skills. /liliAbility to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, communicate clear quality expectations and challenge decisions constructively when compliance, safety or product integrity may be affected. /liliProactive attitude and continuous improvement mindset. /liliHigh level of integrity. /li /ul pThis position offers the opportunity to develop broad expertise in Engineering Quality, Design Assurance, airworthiness and safety while working with multidi
