The SAP S/4HANA Program Manager is responsible for leading and governing the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA brownfield transformation program, ensuring successful delivery across scope, timeline, budget, quality, risk, and stakeholder expectations.

This role provides overall leadership across business and IT workstreams, manages dependencies across system integrators and customer teams, and ensures that the transformation delivers the expected business outcomes while maintaining program governance and delivery discipline

Role Summary

The Program Manager owns the overall execution of the SAP S/4HANA program, covering:

• Program strategy and mobilization
• Governance and stakeholder management
• Planning and integrated delivery management
• Risk, issue, dependency, and change control
• Financial and commercial management
• Cross-workstream coordination
• Testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare oversight
• Alignment between business, IT, and customer leadership teams

Key Roles & Responsibilities

A. Program Leadership, Governance & Stakeholder management

• Lead the overall SAP S/4HANA brownfield transformation program from initiation to stabilization
• Define and establish the program governance model, including SteerCo, PMO cadence, workstream reviews, RAID reviews, design authority, and decision forums.
• Ensure alignment of program objectives with business strategy and transformation roadmap.
• Drive accountability across all workstreams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Provide executive-level visibility on overall program health, progress, risks, and decisions required.
• Ensure all workstreams operate within a common delivery framework and methodology.
• Manage relationships with executive sponsors, business process owners, IT leadership, architects, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Act as the primary escalation point for major program issues.

B. Program Planning & Delivery Management

• Develop and own the integrated master plan covering all phases of the program.
• Manage interdependencies across functional, technical, data, integration, security, testing, cutover, and change management workstreams.
• Ensure milestones, deliverables, environments, and critical path activities are clearly defined and tracked.
• Monitor delivery progress against baselines and initiate corrective actions where required.
• Drive phase gate readiness for key milestones such as Explore, Realize, SIT, UAT, Mock Cutovers, Go-Live, and Hypercare exit.
• Oversee resource planning and capacity alignment across all teams.
• Ensure scope is clearly defined, baselined, and controlled.
• Govern change requests, scope additions, and delivery impacts.
• Ensure appropriate quality gates, standards, templates, and controls are in place.
• Review deliverables for completeness, consistency, and readiness.
• Ensure adherence to SAP Activate / agreed delivery methodology.

C. Workstream Coordination

• Coordinate all major workstreams, including but not limited to:
• Project Management / PMO
• Solution Design & Configuration
• Technical Architecture & Basis
• Infrastructure & Security
• Data Migration
• Integration & Satellite Systems
• Custom Code & Fiori
• Testing
• Change Management & Training
• Cutover & Hypercare
• Ensure cross-stream dependencies are resolved quickly and effectively. xlxgzvr

Skills & Competencies Required

• Strong SAP S/4HANA brownfield transformation delivery experience
• Knowledge of SAP Activate and SAP delivery lifecycle
• Expertise in one Functional (FI,CO, SD,MM ...) or Technical (ABAP, BASIS)
• Understanding of testing, migration, cutover, and hyper care processes
• SAP Activate / project management certification(Preffered)
