Solutions Architect

pWe are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and robust technology solutions within a large-scale programme focused on box tracking systems. /p /brpThe role involves defining solution architectures, driving key technical decisions, and collaborating with product owners, enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and software engineering teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. /p /brh3Key Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliDesign and develop scalable, secure, and reusable solutions aligned with business objectives and product roadmaps. /li /brliDefine and maintain solution architecture roadmaps, anticipating future business and technology needs. /li /brliLead complex technical decisions and support architectural solutions throughout their implementation. /li /brliDevelop and maintain architecture documentation, including architecture diagrams, system specifications, interfaces, data models, and data flows. /li /brliCollaborate with product owners, enterprise architects, domain architects, technical leads, and software engineers to ensure consistent and effective solution delivery. /li /brliContribute to the evolution of monolithic applications towards microservices-oriented architectures. /li /brliApply architectural governance, security-by-design, privacy-by-design, and information governance principles. /li /brliEstablish and promote architectural standards, policies, and best practices. /li /br /ul /brh3Required Skills and Experience /h3 /brul /brliProven experience as a hands-on Solution Architect within a large organisation and complex programme environment. /li /brliStrong knowledge of software solution architecture concepts, practices, and tools. /li /brliExperience designing and documenting architectures across application, data, integration, and security domains. /li /brliSolid expertise in cloud architecture and cloud services, particularly AWS. /li /brliExperience with microservices-oriented architectures and modern software development and delivery practices. /li /brliExperience with container-based and/or serverless environments, including Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and/or OpenShift. /li /brliKnowledge of relational and NoSQL database technologies and formal data modelling techniques. /li /brliExperience with both request-driven and event-driven architectures. /li /brliFamiliarity with data and integration platforms such as Snowflake, Workato, and Qlik. /li /brliGood understanding of CI/CD, version control, branching strategies, quality controls, secrets management, and automated deployments. /li /brliStrong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. /li /brliSolid understanding of cybersecurity, information governance, and security and privacy by design. /li /br /ul /brh3Nice to Have /h3 /brul /brliExperience in the automotive industry or supply chain. /li /brliKnowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services. /li /brliExperience with Bizzdesign. /li /brliExpertise in architecture documentation and modelling techniques, including ArchiMate and UML. /li /br /ul /brh3Education /h3 /brpA Master's degree or equivalent professional experience. /p /brpWe are looking for a technically strong and collaborative architect who can navigate complex challenges, make sound architectural decisions, and deliver secure, scalable, and sustainable solutions. /p
