Senior Technology Consultant

EPAM is looking for a Senior Technology Consultant (CPG) to join the Technology Consulting Practice of our Consumer and Services Business Unit in Brussels, Belgium.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to a multinational manufacturer, guiding them in defining digital transformation strategies and shaping scalable enterprise and domain architectures.
You will translate business goals, processes and KPIs into target-state architectures and actionable transformation roadmaps. By assessing current-state landscapes, defining global integration strategies and advising on rollout decisions, you will play a critical role in modernizing core systems, enabling sustainable digital ecosystems and unlocking business value.
The role involves working in a hybrid working mode with occasional travel to the client site in Northwest Belgium from time to time, especially during the early stages of the project.
ResponsibilitiesLead definition of digital transformation strategies converting business vision and KPIs into actionable enterprise and domain architecturesFacilitate collaborative client workshops to capture current-state, identify capability gaps and design future-state roadmapsDefine target-state solutions and processes including capability mapping, enterprise architecture and modernization of legacy applicationsAdvise on ERP modernization including platform fitment such as SAP within integrated landscapes and digital ecosystemsDesign enterprise integration strategies utilizing modern integration platforms and iPaaS solutionsAssess and optimize critical business workflows such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Supply Chain, Logistics and Digital Channel systemsGovern architectural decisions by documenting trade-offs, risks and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)Develop comprehensive multi-country transformation roadmaps aligning global templates with regional deployment strategiesPresent strategic recommendations and architectural blueprints to C-level and executive client stakeholdersSupport business growth through pre-sales activities including proposals, strategic roadmaps and high-level architecture contributionsRequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technology discipline or equivalent experienceExtensive experience in technology consulting or architecture roles within complex, multi-stakeholder environmentsStrong domain knowledge within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and/or Retail sectorsDemonstrated capability in defining and delivering end-to-end digital transformation strategiesExpert knowledge of enterprise and domain architecture frameworks and patternsDeep understanding of retail and CPG processes including OTC, PTP, supply chain and logistics workflowsBroad understanding of modern technology platforms including cloud architectures, data ecosystems and AI/GenAI capabilitiesOutstanding communication and presentation skills leveraging storytelling to simplify complex technical conceptsProven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders including Directors, VPs and C-level executivesFull professional fluency in English, both spoken and writtenNice to haveProfessional proficiency in DutchHands-on experience with SAP platforms including SAP S/4HANA and ERP modernizationPractical knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) stacksFamiliarity with enterprise integration platforms and iPaaS tools such as MuleSoftExperience designing automation solutions or AI-enabled tiers within ERP-centric landscapesExposure to EA governance frameworks such as TOGAF and experience managing blueprints or ADRsDirect experience leading multi-region or global template rollouts for enterprise clientsWe offer4 weeks of paid holidays6 supplementary/compensation (paid) days (pro rata temporis)Private healthcare insuranceGroup insuranceMeal vouchersEco-vouchersJoint Committee gross bonusTransportation/bike allowance /company car /bike lease (if eligible)IT equipment (laptop)Mobile subscription (no device)Learning and development opportunities including in-house training and coaching, professional certifications, and courses*All benefits and perks are subject to certain eligibility requirements
