Practical hands-on experience in data science or advanced analytics is required. /liliProficient in Python. Knowledge of Scala and/or Spark is a plus. /liliProficient in relational database querying (SQL) or in data collection and transformation (ETL). /liliStrong knowledge of analytical techniques such as machine learning, natural language processing, mathematical optimization and large language models. /liliAt ease with visualization tools like Power BI. /liliExperienced with command line tools (UNIX) and version control tools like GIT. /li liKnow the Hadoop ecosystem (knowledge of the Cloudera distribution of Hadoop will be a plus). /liliHas work experience with at least one Cloud Provider, preferably Azure Cloud. /li liStrong verbal and written communication skills as well as good customer relationship skills to present the results of a use case to different audiences (from end users up to division management). You are able to explain sophisticated concepts in a simplified manner. /li liExperience implementing advanced analytics solutions into a well-controlled production environment. /li liAble to learn new concepts quickly, adapt to changing priorities and contribute innovative ideas. /li liDemonstrates initiative, a collaborative mindset and a positive approach to problem solving. /li liExcellent time management and organizational skills, with attention to details. /li liPast experience in agile development methodologies and make sure that the work you're doing contributes to the final product. /li liStay abreast of new tools and technologies to practice up-to-date data analytic strategies. /li /ul pIn addition /p ulliMaster's degree or equivalent experience in machine learning, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related quantitative field, combined with strong IT skills.
